Public Bodies and Governmental Authorities Representation
We have experience dealing with the unique issues applicable to the representations of public bodies in land use and business disputes, such as the public records laws and sovereign immunity. We have represented the Florida Department of Financial Services in its capacity of insolvent insurance companies, several county-funded public hospitals, public officials and a number of state colleges and universities. We have also acted as outside litigation counsel to a number of counties and municipalities in Florida.
