FSCJ FILES MOTION TO DISMISS IN LAWSUIT BROUGHT BY PLAINTIFF KEISER SCHOOLS, INC.
VBWR defended Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) against claims of injurious falsehood and tortious interference alleged by for-profit college, Keiser University. The College, along with President Steven Wallace and Vice President for Government Relations Susan Lehr, who were named in the lawsuit, contended the lawsuit filed by the for-profit Keiser had no merit.
“This is an issue of national public importance, and Florida State College will not be intimidated into silence. Our focus is, and will continue to be, on consumer protection,” said Florida State College General Counsel and Vice President of Strategic Initiatives Jeanne Miller.
After FSCJ filed motion to dismiss, motion to strike and numerous discovery requests, Keiser dismissed it suit with prejudice.
