AREAS OF PRACTICE
Mr. Wachs’ focus is primarily in the areas of complex commercial litigation, trade secret litigation, reinsurance litigation, bad faith matters, insurance coverage litigation, and agent/broker malpractice. Mr. Wachs presently holds the highest rating from Martindale Hubbell, a national attorney rating service.  Florida Trend magazine has also named Mr. Wachs as one of Florida’s Legal Elite and Super Lawyer magazine has placed Mr. Wachs in the top 5% of attorneys in the state.

EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT BACKGROUND
Mr. Wachs attended the University of North Florida, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude in 1990; and Juris Doctorate from the Florida State University College of Law in 1993, graduating with high honors.

Prior to joining VBWR&W, Mr. Wachs was a capital partner in the law firm of Holland & Knight LLP.
