AREAS OF PRACTICE
Mr. Volpe's focus is primarily in the areas of insurance law, business law and commercial litigation. He mainly represents clients in the insurance industry, including the state of Florida Department of Financial Services, many insurance companies including acting as outside general counsel to several companies.  Florida Trend magazine has named Mr. Volpe as one of Florida's Legal Elite and SuperLawyers magazine has placed Mr. Volpe in the top 5% of attorneys in the state.  Mr. Volpe authored Expert Commentaries for the Lexis/Nexis New Appleman Premium Online Insurance Checklists.

EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT BACKGROUND
Mr. Volpe attended the University of Florida, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree, with high honors, in 1979; Masters of Arts degree in 1982; and Juris Doctorate degree, with honors, in 1982. While attending law school, he was the Editor-in-Chief of the University of Florida Law Review. While attending the University of Florida, Mr. Volpe was a member of the Florida Blue Key Leadership Honorary and was elected to the University’s leadership Hall of Fame. Prior to establishing VBWR&W, Mr. Volpe was a partner in the law firm of Smith Hulsey & Busey.
